Contact Lens Exams & Fittings
First-time wearers
Existing contact lens wearers
Already wearing contacts but curious about different options or brands? Maybe you’ve heard about newer technologies or want to try daily disposables instead of monthlies. We follow a similar process, starting with a discussion about your goals, then fitting you with trial lenses.
If you’re happy with your current brand and type of contact lenses, we make it even easier. During your annual comprehensive eye exam, we’ll discuss your vision, comfort, and overall satisfaction with your current lenses. If everything’s working well, we’ll arrange your contact lens prescription there and then.
The importance of finding the right fit
Contact lenses offer wonderful freedom from glasses for sports, activities, and social events. However, proper fitting is non-negotiable. A lens that’s too tight can restrict oxygen flow to your cornea, potentially causing damage over time. A lens that’s too loose becomes uncomfortable and may move around excessively.
Our doctors perform all contact lens fittings personally, using corneal topography to assess and monitor your corneal health throughout your contact lens journey. Routine assessments during annual exams ensure no corneal damage develops from contact lens wear.
Wide range of options
We fit both soft and rigid contact lenses in various types to suit different needs: single vision spherical lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal lenses for presbyopia, and specialized myopia control lenses. We offer daily disposable, bi-weekly, and monthly replacement schedules. We carry trusted brands including Acuvue (J&J/VistaKon), Bausch + Lomb, Alcon, and CooperVision, giving you access to the latest contact lens technologies.
